BEACON MEMBERS' PORTAL
Beacon is the name of the online membership database which Harrow u3a uses.
If you are a current member of Harrow u3a, you can use Beacon to update your personal details.
If you are a Group Leader or Assistant, wishing to use Beacon to administer the group. Please contact Beacon Administrator who can set up access for you.
The first time you do this you will need to register for a membership account. Click here to see details how to do this.
Once you have registered for an account, you will be able to log in with your email and password.
Go to the Beacon Portal
By clicking on link above to access the Beacon portal, and after entering your email address and password and press "Confirm Identity", to reach the Update Personal Details screen, you can see your information, and change it if necessary.
We recommend you include an Emergency contact. Please make sure that you have checked with that person that they consent to us storing their name and phone number, and passing it on to relevant group leaders if necessary.
We are not using the Security Question field, so please do not enter anything there.
A photo is optional; it will appear on your membership card if you put one here.
Finally, click Update Personal Details. Beacon will then send you an email confirming your changes. Please note, if you changed your email address, this message will come to your old address, for security reasons.
If you ever get an email like that when you didn’t use the Members’ Portal, please use this contact form to contact the membership secretary as soon as possible.
For your information, the Beacon system is owned and operated by the u3a Third Age Trust(TAT). All data is encrypted to assist in keeping your details secure.
