The day before, on the 14th, a group of 52 Harrow
U3A members did a reconnaissance tour of all the sites – prior to deciding which tickets to buy ..
and for which sport!!
Derek Scott and his wife Ruth after his lecture on "Irving Berlin: The
first 30 years" on 30 September 2010. Please accept my apologies
for getting Derek's wife's name wrong previously.
Hugh Davies after giving a lecture on "Bletchley and the Enigma
Code" on 26 August 2010. There will be is a report in the
Autumn newsletter. There is an interesting article on Bletchley
Park in the October edition of Computer Shopper.

The
ramble of the Harrow U3A on Thursday, 15th April 2010.
The participants met at Wendover and walked for about 6 and half
miles to Gt Missenden, stopping about half way at Cock & Rabbit Inn
for lunch. Fortunately, the weather was good and the event was
enjoyed by all. This is a photograph taken after

A trip to Ireland in Summer 1999. Pictures by Pat and Roy Rae
The painting is of the Chateau de Luynes, quite near Tours, on the north side of the Loire, opposite the Grande Chateau of Villandry. Pat and Roy Rae visited it on their recce in 2003 for the trip that they led the following year with 48 Harrow U3A members. The painting is by Roy Rae.
