and include a 'normal' letter-size  S.A.E to enable us to  send you up-to-date information of current study or activity groups , together with a membership application form showing full details of how to make your first membership subscription payment

The Harrow U3A membership fee is based on our financial year, from 1st October to 30th September. The current 2008/9 annual fee is £30 for a single person, £55 for a couple living at the same address.  The actual amount due to be paid by new members is calculated on a pro-rata basis, depending on the month of joining Harrow U3A.

For those on DSS (Income support/pension credit) the fee is £5 p.a. Applicants will need to provide their relevant DSS number.

A reduction of £2.50 may be taken off the annual membership fee, if a member is also a member of another U3A. In this case please state name of the local U3A group to which you already belong together with your membership number. 

You will also receive a Gift Aid form, which we hope you will complete, if you are a basic rate tax payer. The refund we receive from the "Taxman" forms a vital part of our income as a registered educational Charity.
