BEACON MEMBERS' PORTAL
Beacon is the name of the online membership database which Harrow U3A uses.
Click the link below to reach the Beacon Members’ Portal.
If you are a current member of HU3A, you can use this to update your personal details. Later we plan to add other functions such as online renewal. We will let you know when this is available.
To open the portal you need to enter your current details exactly as we have them on the database.
Please note:
Forename & Surname are case sensitive.
You need to put a space before the last number in the postcode eg. HA5 4EG.
If what you enter does not match what we have, it all blanks out and you have to start again – sorry!
If you’re not sure what details to put in, please contact membership.hu3@yahoo.co.uk or look back at the email we sent to confirm them.
When you reach the Update Personal Details screen, you can see your information, and change it if necessary.
Please note, we are not using the following fields, so please do not enter any information in them:
Emergency contact
Photo
Security Question
Finally, click Update Personal Details.
Beacon will then send you an email confirming your changes. Please note, if you changed your email address, this message will come to your old address, for security reasons.
If you ever get an email like that when you didn’t use the Members’ Portal, please contact membership.hu3a@yahoo.co.uk as soon as possible.
For your information, the Beacon system is owned and operated by the U3A. All data is encrypted to assist in keeping your details secure.
